Sharing & Uploading

On phones, tablets, and some desktop browsers, the top row and the File tab have a Share button. It sends your drawing as a PNG to another app, for example a messenger or your photo gallery.

If your browser doesn’t support sharing, the button isn’t shown.

Click Upload in the File tab to upload your drawing to Imgur, an image hosting site.

  1. Choose JPG (the default, smaller) or PNG (keeps transparency).
  2. Optionally enter a Title and Caption.
  3. Click Upload. Your image opens on Imgur in a new tab.

Before you upload:

  • The image is uploaded as unlisted, not private: anyone with the link can view it.
  • The upload is anonymous. After uploading, Kleki shows a link to delete the image. Save that link. It’s the only way to delete the image later.
  • Uploads follow Imgur’s Terms of Service.

JPG has no transparency. Transparent areas turn black, so choose PNG if your drawing has a transparent background.

Uploading pixel art? Enlarge it first, or it will look blurry. See My Pixel Art Looks Blurry.

To paste your drawing into another app, use Copy in the Edit tab, or press Ctrl + C.
